About Hong Hua

With over 80 years of combined experience, friends and partners Danny Yu, Peter Chan, Gary Yau and Shetwai Seto have made Hong Hua one of the most desirable places in Metro Detroit to enjoy an authentic Chinese meal. In fact, cooking professionally since starting in Hong Kong at the age of 17, Chef Chan brings more than 25 years of expertise to Hong Hua’s cuisine.

Hong Hua opened its doors in June 2000, and its popularity has grown steadily ever since. Voted Hour Magazine’s “Restaurant of the Year” in its second year of operation, Hong Hua provides its customers with the most elegant dining experience, dishes made with the freshest ingredients and the best service by its knowledgeable wait staff. Banquet Facilities and Meeting Rooms

Private banquet and meeting rooms are available, featuring larger tables with lazy susans.  For very special occasions we can handle up to 200 persons.

Beverages

We have a fully-stocked bar; fine American and French wines as well as Asian Cocktails and Chinese Wine and Beer to compliment the cuisine.  Order Gary's Special Cocktail if you choose not to have alcoholic drinks.
